The Trump admin is moving forward on plans to impose financial penalties on Americans in default on their federal student loans and hire private debt collectors to go after them. The plans are unlikely to be announced until after the midterms.

One of the reasons I push back on the notion that the fascists "are more welcoming" to people than the various Left(s) re: organizing is that it isn't actually true across difference. It is not. The minority of people of color who subscribe to their politics are A MINORITY. They are OUTLIERS.
