I’m tired of hearing from some peers how we “need to hear out” the MAGA/MAHA point-of-view on health — in their effort to be the “adult” in the room. Engaging in false equivalences and normalizing nonsense as serious debate will not move us towards some greater enlightenment.

One thing I will never forget is how six Republican Justices on the bench of our Highest Court declared kidnapping and disappearing human beings without a paper trail to anywhere in the world is a lawful act. SCOTUS is the now the very death panel Republicans told us to fear.

If we stopped debating who is and isn’t “disabled enough” to deserve healthcare, we could easily work together and demand universal healthcare for all. There’s no reason it can’t be done, and it would lead to a healthier & happier society. Healthcare is a human right.
