The controller for your console costs more money than a keyboard. A keyboard *attachment* for said controller also costs more. If you can't afford one, you probably shouldn't be paying a sub for a video game, because you clearly have bigger issues. I try to have empathy for folks, but this isn't it.

Every port also supports mouse, fyi. I get not wanting to buy new hardware, but you can get a wireless keyboard at 5 Below these days, ffs. It is actually to your benefit to own one for XIV. When I played on PS4, I used one. I still use that one when I occasionally play on S2. Come on now.

I'm gonna gently hold every console player's hands when I say this: every single console version of XIV supports a USB keyboard (yes even Switch 2 on dock). You can get one for less than your sub cost these days, and it has the added benefit of letting you talk faster in chat. This is a non-issue.

Every single day I'm glad that anime journalists have teeth and are given the free reign to use them. I'd rather get threatened with a blackball from a company because we were honest about something, rather than cower and publish toothless puff pieces about the head of a megacorp division.

I've said this since Krazy Ken's "people will work two jobs to buy a PS3" comment: Ken Kutaragi can eat my whole ass and hair.
