i'm glad i played it when i did. i got a few really fun months out of it with my family, had a total blast, and then vanished before this stuff started. it's fascinating to compare evolving game platforms (fortnite, minecraft, and roblox consider themselves equivalents) and how they all fuck it up

A striking thing I’m seeing is that a lot of the time I can’t justify why I hate something, can’t give it a “good reason.” I just fucking hate it, okay. And much of the time that’s exactly why I would stuff it down, argue myself out of it, try to like it even harder. To be “fair.”
