Occasionally, someone online, usually someone much younger, tells me, "You're not a real Canadian," and I gleefully point out that even though I wasn't born here, I've been a Canadian much longer than they have. (What they mean, of course, is "white.")

I dreamed I tweeted “if Quebec gains independence will they call it “New Quebec” or will there just be two Quebecs?” because dream Hank thought there was already a country called Quebec. Possibly in Europe?
