And I figure as long as you aren't just blasting into a crosswalk (I have walked and biked in this city long enough to never enter a crosswalk without being 100% sure of my safety), it's better and faster for everyone to ride through

There's crosswalk I bike across daily which sort of, but not quite connects 2 multiuse paths so it is grey as to how "illegal" it is and I've been waiting for years for a driver to give me a hard time about not dismounting to cross it because I have a response all planned out haha
