Day 5 it wasn’t the longest day as a matter of fact there was only about 10 miles. I got an early and since it was nice, decided to get the laundry going. I washed a few things hung up my clothes to dry and had a nice little R&R session. Even did some self-care. I knew I had a big day tomorrow

We used to build huge leaf forts and have persimmon fights. I am convinced that it was the inspiration for paintball. Mom was not as enthralled with it as we were when she saw the state of our clothes.
