It’s a good challenge (not unique to indies) that can be easily missed or skipped with IGAvania— coming upon a rare weapon or simply grinding/killing everything might enable the player to just wail on (A) like it’s Kingdom Hearts. And it’s great to feel powerful! But a boss should be a boss lol.
Show PostI’ll post a video rant about it when everyone’s done with Castlevania and to respect spoilers— But one thing that this game alone takes over others is the combat, especially bosses. There’s more of a forced interaction, solving, of combat puzzles at the base difficulty setting.
