He’s dead but he was great. Too much manual labor broke his body before the cancer even got there. He read a book a week and often read with one eye while watching sports with the other. He kept notebooks of baseball stats. He knew every local bird and tree and classic rock song

Dad, dead 10 years. Handsome, kind, gentle, intelligent. Could fix or build anything. Took me to the library every week. My greatest champion. I got lucky. I miss him.

My wonderful pops passed away 6 years ago .. July 2020.. he was 87 years old .. RIP Dad 🙏 … I gave this sun catcher to him for Father’s Day a month before he died .. it now hangs in my window as a memorial of him ❤️
