Policies of forcibly separating families and putting children into an #adoption pipeline, as Trump did and is doing again, where identities are erased and families untraceable, is child trafficking.
Show PostI'm an adoptee in communication with many others in the adoptee community. Many of us did not "need" to be relinquished b/c of any danger, but were procured for adoption through coercion or even fraud. Coercion for many, esp from the #BabyScoopEra. Fraud not uncommon for international adoptees.

So for my fellow adoptees, who know that they may have few friends but the mountains, I understand how awful it can be to be invisible, again, even as you stand in and help others. That is the cruelty of fate. Be strong. It's hard. Take solace with those who care and know who truly has your back.
