I get pissed off at "the leftist argument for AI" when audio's been at the pointy end of it for a while now. The leftist argument is to take the heads of genAI companies and [censored for Bluesky], but outside of that? Don't use it. Share knowledge, respect the craft of others, TALK TO PEOPLE.
Show PostThose companies are actively putting audio people out of work because companies already devalued audio work so much that they're more than happy to spend their 50p budget on slop to look like they're "at the cutting edge" than getting AND LISTENING TO someone who knows what they're on about.
