If you're wanting to migrate to Resonite, I can recommend checking out Resonite's new Unity SDK, which should make bringing in custom avatars from VRC / CVR a good bit easier. They will likely need some tweaking afterwards, but people will be able to help you with that in-game if you ask for it :)

Could just switch completely to joystick. Last I checked kick was just as bad… but that was back when they first started making waves, so I could be wrong
