Yeah I think the wording of throw it out raises concern. I liked his way of flip the switch and it blows up, I'll rebuild. Took that mindset for myself instead of babying and preserving, run my stuff as it was meant to be used. Not so much a collector and more a user. Maybe he wants it used by more.

Is he going minimalist? As I get older I start thinking I need stuff more accessible, more quality of life and less for others to ever have to deal with even if it means compromises. At least I have the knowledge of lots of different tech; he actually inspired me to get rid of things...hope he's ok!
