This sounds like a genuine apology and I think people should be able to eventually stop paying for their misdeeds. However, you say yourself that you got off easy at the time. What do you think proper restitution looks like?

I believe you when you say that you've grown past that version of yourself and that you would never do something like that again. I also believe that personal rehabilitation does not necessitate forgiveness or acceptance. I wish you the best, but will no longer engage with your platform.
