i'd say the water, they woudn't want to transport the extra weight all the way from canada add it here in australia, and sell it at the pork $/kg

The pork itself is Australian, the curing mixture is nine non-Australian ingredients? (Or if it's 10% curing mixture by weight, the other way around, I guess.) I dunno. I'm at a loss here, too.

I suspect that the 10 per cent Australian content is purely to avoid saying where the other 90 per cent is coming from. A lot of people like me will not knowingly buy food products originating in China or the USA. This is because we believe that both countries have dreadful food standards.
