Regarding the "tech-entrepenuer" version of reactionary modernism I'm happy that they (or their "intellectuals") haven't found Arnold Gehlen yet(?) Taubes wrote a most illuminating essay on Gehlen, Weber and industrial society in 1969. I thought about it a lot listening to this episode.
