Screen printing really doesn’t have that high barrier of entry. I don’t think 99% of people should strive for commercial volume — and we (as a fandom, as people) should be more conscious of our environmental impact by not enabling exploitative labor practices. 🤷

I know making profit from one's own art is really hard and artists deserve to be paid fairly for their work but it absolutely should not come at the cost of other people or the environment, especially if your message is to protect the environment too. Stop making landfillcore slop!!

I honestly think rather than trade secrets it would just look really bad for them because people could research the manufacturer and see that it is very not green, and probably cheap labor from a sweatshop, and at worst probably with very reduced cost to the clothing so their profit margin is bigger
