They feel the executive branch is untouchable. Between the SCOTUS and the Congress run by the GOP, it is. Our founding fathers never thought we'd be in such a corrupt state.

But DOJ says any direct conversations with Trump would be protected by constitutional privileges, so it can’t disclose that to the court. DOJ also argues that redesigning the golf course isn’t subject to review under the Administrative Procedure Act, comparing it to mowing the lawn. 3/3
