The price of (involuntary) fame at times: 1) Asking the audience at your panel if they have any questions - as a brief break after a SERIOUS topic involving suicide and disease - & being asked “Are you the voice of Kinger?” 2) Being stared at @ a buffet while grabbing food, then asked the same ?
Show PostVoice Acting went the way of Hollywood over a decade ago at this point. It is NOT a faceless career anymore. I’ve said this at length before but many many clients/companies want entertainers & content creators tied into their VAs. “Celebrity” and “audience reach” are sometimes valued just as much.
