Judging by the media coverage, the biggest scandal in English football history is that a "spy" was spotted at a training ground, not that so many of its clubs are owned by brutal regimes, private equity grifters and gangsters, and take the money of quasi-criminal crypto companies and bookies.

I've listened to the tribute for Jota by @georgetrad.bsky.social a few times now, and I'm not afraid to admit that it's brought me to tears every time. It is one of the most evocative, raw, heartfelt tributes I think I've ever heard. And it resonates with much of how I've felt.
