I still spell words I don’t want my adult kids to know I’m saying to their mom. To this day, they still don’t know because no one corrects my spelling.

You guys, I am halfway through the third Wolf Hall book, The Mirror and the Light, and I am telling you they ABSOLUTELY deserved the Booker Prize, I have not read such an artfully put together novel in so long, it’s a JOY to read on that front alone, and then the substance is so wonderful as well!!

Has anyone written well and seriously about the common strain through dictators having really fucked up unresolved relationships with their ambitious abusive dads? Because I would read it yesterday.
