Last winter, I made batches of ginger tea (peeled & sliced ginger in hot water), and drank 1-2 mugs a day, All winter, I had -0- respiratory sicknesses. I also add it to honey-lemon green iced tea w/ lunch.🍯🍋 For summer, I basically stopped enjoying it straight and hot. So nice to have it again.😋

I use about this much ginger each time, and I make it in a 1 quart teapot. I do four rounds of hot water for each quantity of ginger, to get as much out of it as I can. So, roughly one “handful” of ginger per gallon? I do like it strong, esp since I dillute it when I add it to honey lemon green tea.
