I swear to god, where the hell does the "lawyer and attorney are different" thing come from? All three major models are regurgitating the claim, but there aren't any sources that really back it up. Even the ones the AI's cite when pushed don't really stand for that proposition.

For the umpteenth time: there is no difference between “lawyer” and “attorney,” and BOTH are considered (by every state bar association I know!) holding yourself out as eligible to practice law—which, as someone who has never been admitted, she is NOT.
