Yep, they asked the same. Told me they filed a false report on me and then told me to contact someone from their email they received or I'd either get my Tumblr account permanently banned in 12 hours for not acting

Show PostI know it's mostly my fault for not properly checking with the official Tumblr support team and instead believing some user that my account can get permanent ban of false reports, but at the time I was tired and thought there's not gonna be a big deal about it, and so I naively did everything.

If it helps, I got scammed for $3K for embarrassing reasons I won't get into. I fell for the call that so and so was arrested. After they had wired cash in hand they literally stayed on the phone with me to go to the cop shop "to finish paper work". Cops laughed at me, of course.
