Tech companies are not a good indicator and we didn’t see those layoffs spread. Tech companies also took on a lot more employment during the pandemic that is no longer needed; and many of those companies (like meta) are hiring again in limited numbers
Show PostI’ve heard people talk about an oncoming recession for at least two years now and the labor market has just not slowed the way we expect, even with high interest hikes. I’m not so sure it’ll even be a thing
