I call this the "chicken pizza effect". I don't think I've ever once regretted eating a slice of chicken pizza when it was available, but I'll never order or make one if it's the only pizza I'm getting. It's simply not what I'm thinking about when I decide I want pizza.

I’m not even particularly pro the communist parties in the early 30s, but let’s not pretend 1. anything maps that well to today without some mental gymnastics and 2. The liberal and centrist parties did nothing wrong. Every side fucked up to some extent. Own that before left punching yet again.
