But it also allows young boys to be more rowdy and messy. Girls are expected to me more mature from the get go.

I wish I had more space to explain in one post the amount of guilt and pressure society puts on women to not be "overly emotional" or "hysterical" and how that influences heavier masking among Autistic Women. But socials require me to be more concise for better or worse. 😅

Imagine being told "you are just too sensitive" your entire life the moment you start raising any kind of fuss then having to make the judgement call at age 6-8 that it's better to keep said big feelings to yourself bc of guilt~ Girls tend to fear being "too much" hence heavier masking tendencies.

It's true that I feel like I have less in common with people just from a life experience point with people younger than approximately the age of 28. But frankly, past about that point, I figure you have just about enough life experience that I can just level with you as an adult human being.
