I grew up in a world that was far more racist, homophobic and generally intolerant than the world today, living under the spectre of nuclear annihilation. The Internet has been a great tool for the stupid to band together and spread their stupid but I still think the world is better than back then.

Concordes were definitely useful. But they were too expensive to operate compared to the price customers were willing to pay. They weren't commercially viable and eventually disappeared. 2/2
