Trying again after being alerted that the submissions guidelines were going to a certain story: My special call for @diabolicalplots.com Diabolical Rot is official open! Submit your human-written Rot-themed stories here! submissions.diabolicalplots.com

Show PostI would be EXTREMELY annoyed to discover my PR is "AI"-generated, and as someone bombarded with dozens of "AI"-generated emails daily, I assure you the stink of "AI" is immediately noticable and immediately dismissible. Publishers are not doing their new books any favors in using it.
Show PostSometimes cold emails are real. But not when they're from gmail addresses, and not when they're long, ass-kissy, and describe your book to you as if you'd never heard of it before. IMO "rule of three" is a bad metric overall, but once you read a few of these emails they're very recognizable.
Show PostI’ve long been a big fan of the short, magical stories that Hex Literary have been curating, and I’m thrilled to have a piece published with them today! “Sixty-One Seconds,” is a flash fiction piece about reality-hopping, violence, love, and all that can happen in a minute and one.
