At nearly 300 pharmacy closures in the last two years, this should already be considered a national healthcare emergency! What is our government doing about this? This can't be allowed to get worse because millions of ordinary Americans would be affected and likely suffer.

Can't figure out Mark Cuban's fixation with PBMs when there are other culprits that need to be addressed in our broken healthcare system. The foremost of these are the drug manufacturers and yet Cuban and others continue to point to the system's middlemen.

This take is worth considering. We need to understand it because first of all, PBMs do not determine the price list of prescription drugs. That's the responsibility of drug manufacturers and we aren't sure how changing PBMs are paid can affect total drug spending.

Still struggling to understand why PBMs are always being dragged as one of the main offenders in what's wrong with the healthcare system. It's as clear as day that the practices of drug manufacturers are what's causing real harm, to patients as well as small independent pharmacies.
