sometimes I think about what a huge success Disco Elysium was, in part just by virtue of being a straight-forward crpg. Bioware has always had enough talent to crank out games of that size and shape every two years. Instead, we got endless reams of failed massive games for the last decade plus.

I've come to the conclusion it's fine to just be blanket anti-AI right now. We can have the nuanced discussions about local models, limited usage, etc. later. It's simply not possible to have those discussions right now. The current emergency is AI as fascist movement. We need to fight that.
