Feels pretty tough on solo authors and people in smaller teams. If you have multiple papers accepted but no co-authors who can present, the one-presenter rule basically limits how much of your work can actually make it onto the program😂

Thoughts on the unannounced (?) new submission/presentation policy for #ICA27? In principle I can see some form of limits supporting equality, but surely limits on submissions (say 3?) would be a better approach, especially given the ICA review lottery and the risk of a single ‘shot’ at it…

When we talk about the costs that LLMs impose on society we should not forget the fact that nothing works anymore because everyone is so scared of getting their shit scraped. I can't even use google scholar from my university or starlink because they send too much traffic.
