Getting out of me own way.

It keeps me from reaching out, from putting myself in social contexts, and from asking for help. Like a vampire, waiting on an invitation. Notably it throws up big caution signs around putting myself in situations that I really want to participate in, too. So, guess that's what I need to work on.

Therapist note to me last week was "notice fear." To stop and think through why fear crops up for me, and notice the when and where, too. Often it has to do with my presence in a situation. I limit myself, thinking I'm not desired in whatever that context is. That I would make others uncomfortable.
