The first Great White Egret for Vatersay looked very relaxed as it fed along the shoreline at Caolas today. Meanwhile the other GWE remained around Northbay on Barra. #BirdingScotland

Isabelline type shrike Kessingland 21/10/2026 @gavindurrant1.bsky.social find still showing well by the pillboxes. It has been leaving the cliff roost between 9-10 to feed on the inland side of the boxes. Those standing too close to its preferred feeding hedge have been missing it. #birds
