Show PostDefinitely agree on that Only time I was ok a code was when it came free with a physical game of the previous game as a sort of bonus. South Park: Factured but Whole comes with a code for Stick of Truth, in case you were interested.
Show PostOh, and ripping disc to back up physical media. Only using physical when you need to rip it again for whatever reason. Specially with rarer games.
Show PostReally hard to let your friends borrow a game to try to get them into it without physical media if there isn't a demo. Demos may actually be the one place were I am ok with digital media. I miss the physical demo disc but the fact is more games have them now and it's easier to get them later.
