That's interesting because I don't need the cooling. The house is relatively cool because it's nicely shaded by trees and hedging plus I'm notorious for feeling cold.

That does sound more like something that would work for me. I've screwed (negotiated) my energy supply down to around £55pm for dual fuel with £25 of that being standing charges. So it's efficiency rather than cost that's important, but it needs to be similar to current system really.
