which is a really long winded way for me to say part of why i prefer viktor (esp post-canon) with short hair LMAO like imo that long hair was Not him. he has long hair when he's in crisis (see: high noon, ekko comic). the hexcore detransitioned him. He needs the unkempt spikes they are a necessity.

this is why i subscribe to the interpretation that jayvik at the end is both of them when they are Most themselves. Jayce knowing what he wants and acting for himself, Viktor believing in something and being able to act on it, both with their partner beside them

He's so emotive normally. He can't lie convincingly, he can't hide his reactions, he's so expressive, and then now all of a sudden he's 😐 but that's only on the outside. Internally, in his fun magic goop mind palace, he's the Viktor we knew in s1a1, bright-eyed and stoked to do Cool And Good Shit

one thing i love abt Commune Viktor is how obvious it is that that's not the real Viktor. his demeanor in the post-goop scene can be chalked up to shock or smth from just waking up, but then he's speaking like a biblical figure, and then his affect in act2 is so dull? Like he's been drained.
