Branko Milanovic is an order of magnitude wrong. Literally in this case. The non-citizen population of the Baltic countries is 3.6%, not one third. And that’s still probably the closest thing to accurate in his post here. He doesn’t even seem to know that the Baltic countries are in Europe.

TL;DR as we close in on the first anniversary of the Burevestnik test on 21 October 2025, the test site at Pankovo is currently still crewed and operational and the support vessels are still up there. Whether another test happens or not; we can only wait and see.

What are the qualifying traits to belong in the ”cruise missile” category? Is a “Shahed” not a cruise missile? (I think we are biased, based on what they used to look like: I.e. torpedo-like with tiny wings. In essence: A flying bomb with a map?)
