That's not really new though. The brain is a muscle. If we use it less, then it shrinks. Similar to many other organs in the human body. People need to do the same level of brain exercise or more with these new tools. If they rely on the chatbot for the answer, they will lose intelligence.

AI is a tool. AI doesn't take away the need for critical thinking. The need for critical thinking is exactly the same today as it was ten years ago. People who do not understand how to apply critical thinking to their AI use today are the exact same people who didn't do to other tools ten years ago.
