Games don’t want to look like photos, but I’m sure many of them want to look like movies. Movies are photorealistic and can still be stylized. Think the desert of Conan Exiles, but with the visuals of the new Dune movies. I can see that working very well.

AI being shoehorned into game development to potentially reduce the staff required to make a game thus increasing investors ROI sounds EXACTLY like something EA would do.
Show PostThe investors are though. And they’re the ones footing the bill for the games development. Publishers need to keep them happy to keep the money flowing in for future projects. It’s not a giant leap.
