I watched a random Bill Oddie documentary over the summer - www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/epis... - he mentioned somewhere near Bromsgrove I'd never heard of (Upton Warren), so a short while afer I had a day trip (3 buses there), and I saw a lapwing, a sandpiper, and a kingfisher!
Show PostBirdwatching is making a big comeback even among young people! (I had an Inc article but it wouldn't load.) We got a bird feeder recently. It's honestly so heartwarming to notice the same birds again and again. www.bbc.com/news/article...
Show PostBirdwatching via wildlife photography is good stuff. Tho I'm just re-entering my World of Warcraft era so I wont be going outside anytime soon.
Show PostBirdwatching has many virtues, and has improved my life in many ways. Strongest possible recommendation.
Show PostJustin at Apollo Automation does birdwatching and he's 5 years younger than me it was really adorable seeing him get excited about birds while on a hike with me and Franck a few weeks ago though, absolutely agree with them being cute 😄
