Our new paper has just been accepted at AMPPS 😊 In psychology, we often bundle different things into composites (extraversion, depression, …). If the parts have different effects, the composite's effect is an ambiguous blend. Above all, this is Lukas Junker's achievement. osf.io/preprints/ps...

I'm glad that evolutionary psych folk are trying to clean up the messes in the field. I also think it's fine for people to abandon fields one is no longer happy with, though Life is short and a huge perk of academia is that you can study whatever the hell you like
