I do think that in general, super majorities do not serve democracy well. There are times when the executive is way outside the common values that a supermajority can be a force for good. But it should be temporary. True for GOP and Dems alike. Leads to bad outcomes eventually.

UPDATE Kelly Clarkson has now responded to Art of Play, the Brooklyn store she criticized on here. The store said the item she wanted wasn’t for sale. But Clarkson says the store is lying and that there was a price tag on the item the store claims wasn’t for sale.
