I may do a mega thread here when it comes out with a sample walkthrough of my process for one chapter, and if ever I am accused of using AI, can do a zoom and show the person all my drafts. AI could never do this. I could not have written this even 5 years ago. I had to have 25 years experience.
Show PostI don't want to share my notes and drafts online because I am afraid AI would eat them. I'll figure out how to "prove" that I read everything and researched/noted everything (tho I did have help w tracking down sources to get me started for each chapter, but just sources, not the reading).
Show PostBig news. Just finished the last main body chapter of my next book. Major editing to come+ finishing conclusion... and then intro (which you write last).... but it feels like the home stretch. It's all there. What a ride. 1400+ sources (yes I read them all). 400,000 words of notes. NO AI.
Show PostA little taste of the spooky season just in time for the Symposium HOGARTH: HIS ART, LIFE, AND TIMES. A Tribute to Ronald Paulson. Begins Oct 14 4:30pm at YCBA thru Oct 16 4:15pm Extra points if you can tell which series these are from. #Hogarth #18thc @YaleLibrary Yale Center for British Art
Show PostWe already have flying cars. They're called helicopters. They're really expensive and there are good reasons you have to have a pilot license and work with air traffic control to fly them. Putting jets on a sedan is not going to result in a better vehicle or transportation experience in any way.
