My understanding is that there is genocide going on in Sudan, since 2023. Horrific. No media coverage that I can see. Not much outrage on social media either.

Many Africans are currently doing just that, and it is getting virtually no international media coverage. Africa 'doesn't matter' Sudan, Somalia, Mali, north Nigeria... genocides are happening there too. Russia and China are involved.
