It takes only a few interactions to profit millions off of corruption, it takes months to years to actually put people into prison for it, when an entire class of people bum rush the system like they have this term if you don't create fast special prosecutions you're set up to have it return.

Remember, our president was convicted of dozens of felonies and the courts just went "We sentence him to 'meh' because he's president now", and that is sadly how it would work again.

We're going to need an entire specialized DOJ unit to handle all the political corruption from this period, anything less than that there will be a deficit of prosecution that will make it spring right back up in the next cycle.

I really hope people are not still freaked out about the idea of the president directing priorities for the DOJ in 2029 because it's going to be required to preserve any semblance of democracy and is 100% constitutionally allowed, we saw what happens when they play coy like Biden did.
