10-year old desktop owner here, a well-built one can be surprisingly competitive if you're not playing bleeding edge AAA titles. My benchmark would be ensuring my games run decently on older non-gaming laptops

I agree. When I see a dude go “oh man my 5 year old computer is sooooo old” and it’s like; that was all cutting edge 5 years ago and you can still play new titles without a problem. Sit down sir. lol

Accessibility in gaming is more than just colorblidness options or big font subtitles, price of entry NEEDS to be a concern as well. If you need the latest nvidia 69Billion series card to run the game, that game is not accsessable
