I bitch, but I am actually just about ready to send the black and white ONLY versions of volume 1 and 2 off to Ka-Blam, and this gives me an excuse to test out the new tones on their end. If they print well there, then it's safe to use them for the rest of the comic. -w-

After much experimenting and fighting with Hisaki's hair (so, nothing unusual), I have found a tone for him that prints well AND looks nice resized for web. It is, unfortunately, much darker than his usual hair tone. .....I'm gonna have to fix it up for all three books, aren't I?? 😭

I say it all the time but y'know what's weird, is when I give Hisaki a hair tone that actually matches his real hair tone 🤣 In 2006, when I got Comicworks, I very stupidly used a light hair tone and it's been that way ever since 🫠 I don't have the heart to change it.

Literally sitting here at 6 AM, playing with tones, experimenting, trying to find what works both for print and for screens...and I'm just smiling 😁💖 Art is so fun. So much technical shit goes into it. I love it. 🥰

Ugghhh I keep hoping to get artwork done on my weekends but I keep getting sick or injured or spend hours putting up Halloween decorations, but it's the best time of the year...
