Still in absolute awe of @mysfpuc.bsky.social's Fifield-Cahill Ridge Trail that I hiked on Saturday with a group for Transit Month. What a way to round out the month! The trail requires a docent to protect the rare habitats, which are probably some of the most beautiful I've seen on the peninsula.

The Skyline Watershed Ridge Trail, in the coastal hills off Skyline Boulevard, traverses a variety of terrains, from grasslands to Douglas fir forest to redwood groves, each home to creeks and drainages that contribute to the city’s water supply. Hikers, cyclists and equestrians are welcome.
