Buenos Aires, to me as a USian, always looks like a sort of Bizarro New York, I think since they both boomed so much from 1890-1930. Which is cool!

Neither of these fully reflect the reality, though, which is more like the local weatherman who overstates the probability of rain, because people are less mad about cancelling a BBQ on a sunny day than having it on a rainy day. They're not fudging two points, they're "erring on the side of caution"

I guess I don't buy that. A HANK household is not a representative agent, MPCs can differ fairly radically and in innovative ways that can be affected by macro factors like inequality and public debt (which is the P-K stuff I mentioned in OP!). I'm not sure if its a patch or a change in direction
